Get involved in the life of the school community. At Bishop Hamilton Montessori School, parent involvement is strongly encouraged.
Involvement opportunities range from serving in the classroom to helping to organize school social events. Find your area of interest and get involved, you can make a difference.

Parent Volunteers
An open invitation is extended to all our parents to volunteer during the school year. As a not-for-profit independent Christian school, we rely on volunteers.
35th Anniversary Fundraiser
Bishop Hamilton Montessori School celebrated 35 years of Christian Montessori education with a fundraiser for the continued expansion and improvement of our school. The fundraiser included a silent auction, food, games, entertainment and music in the school’s gym.
Fundraising
As a not for profit independent school, Bishop Hamilton Montessori School does not receive funding from the Ministry of Education. We therefore rely on monies raised through fundraising to enhance our programming and facilities. Annual fundraising goals are shared with the school community. We rely on parents and staff to be involved in our fundraising efforts.
Board of Governors
We are a not-for profit school with a Board of interested community members and seasoned professionals. Our Board exercises general oversight and management of the School and property. One third of our Board members are parents of students. The School Director is the Chief Executive Officer who oversees school operations and long-term planning.
