Plus, they’re super fun for kids aged 2-10 years-old.  Your kids will love these games.  And they’ll become an essential part of your parenting toolkit.

Here are our top 3 best brain-boosting games for kids.

Brain-Boosting Blocks

Best suited for 2-4 year olds

Building blocks are one of the best toys for kids. That’s why they’re one of the oldest toys in our history. Blocks help with so many important milestones in childhood development, including spatial awareness, gross motor skills, and shape recognition.

Expose your child to blocks of different colours and sizes. That’s it! Let your child explore the blocks and let their imagination run wild.  All aspects of your child’s brain development are stimulated including shape/colour recognition, creativity, spatial awareness, and so much more.

Classic Brain Games

Best suited for 5-10 year olds

Classic games such as “I spy with my little eye”, “Simon Says,” and scavenger hunts are classic brain-boosting exercises. Books like “Where’s Waldo?” are great for children and adults. Finding a targeted item in a cluttered environment helps enhance your child’s focus.

These classic brain development games help children to follow instructions, enhance attention, develop language and increases their spatial awareness.

Memory

Best suited for 4-10 year olds

This mind development game for kids is one of our Casa Program favourites. You start with a set of paired cards laid out face down on a hard surface. Then challenge you kids to find the matching pairs. They can only turn over two cards at once. This brain-boosting game will help improve your child’s memory, focus, and spatial awareness. Added bonus: your kids won’t even know they’re working to improve their memory.
