About
Portrait of a Graduate
Bishop Hamilton Montessori School prepares students to live in the real world. Our students become leaders, lifelong learners, and independent thinkers who have a social conscious and a secure relationship with God. These qualities are possible due to our strong partnership with parents. The outcome of this relationship is the Portrait of a Graduate.

"BHMS not only provided me with a lifetime of amazing memories but also a strong academic foundation for becoming a naturopathic doctor. I enjoyed my experience at BHMS so much that we enrolled our son at BHMS. It has been such a joy to watch him thrive in the Montessori environment – not to mention bringing back memories of all the materials I once worked with.
As the years go by and I watch my son thrive, I seem to appreciate BHMS more and more. I feel so lucky to have been part of such an amazing school that allowed and encouraged me to grow into the woman I am today."

"I enjoyed one of the best educational experiences a youngster could wish for at BHMS. Due to the flexible and self-guided nature of teaching there, I developed such diverse and useful life skills.
At age 23, I have already accomplished many of my musical goals, such as performing at Carnegie Hall, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. I’ll soon make my solo debut at the world-renowned Berliner Philharmonie.
I continue to credit BHMS for shaping me in such a well-rounded manner during my most formative years and stoking my fires of ambition at a young age. I will always be grateful to the wonderful community there that still supports me today!"

"I graduated from BHMS with amazing friends and memories. The unique experiences and learning environment allowed me to flourish in multiple aspects of life, ranging from interpersonal relationships to time management and organization skills. My experience at BHMS instilled in me the confidence to undertake any challenge I wish to pursue.
I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Management in Summer 2021 and will be continuing my studies at the University of Ottawa through their Master of Public Health program. I can say with confidence that my time at BHMS contributed enormously to who I am today."

"I look fondly back at my time at BHMS. Not only did I make lifelong friends, my teachers equipped me with a knowledge base that enabled me to excel, independent learning, studying and tutoring skills. These lessons allowed me to thrive throughout my undergrad and two master's degrees.
The school played a very important role in shaping who I am today, and I do not think I would have developed such a strong love of learning without the support and encouragement I received from my teachers there."
